New York–based Cuban filmmaker and cinematographer Liliet Reyes , proposed to composer an exploration of his work Silencios Fatuos—the complete cycle.

Her idea: to approach it without any premeditated elements, simply capturing the moment—the everyday, the quiet, the stillness—amid the noise of life.

On April 30, the first video will be released, featuring Silencio Fatuo No. 7.

The Wonder, the new documentary by award-winning Italian filmmakers Joshua Wahlen and Alessandro Seidita, is now beginning its screening run across Italy.

The music, composed by Julián De La Chica and published by Irreverence Group Music, features soprano Yana Mann and includes poems by Costa Rican musicologist and composer Susan Campos Fonseca, extending the film’s contemplative atmosphere through a layered dialogue between sound and image.

In a city that never stops looking forward, New Yorkers and visitors alike find themselves returning—again and again—to the same faces, the same intersections, the same quiet collisions.

Set between Manhattan and Brooklyn, the film follows two individuals whose paths cross repeatedly over the course of a single day. In the capital of ambition—where everything urges us outward, toward more—there is a subtle reminder that meaning often lingers much closer than we expect.

Carried by composer Julián De La Chica's Vo**uristic Images, Op. 10, image and sound remain in tension, oscillating between presence and absence—between the slow dissipation of sound and the weight of silence. Performed by De La Chica and his close friend Ilona Miller, the film acquires an added layer of intimacy and lived connection, resisting narrative resolution.

Directed by New York–based Cuban filmmaker Liliet Reyes, with cinematography by Anneka Bunnag, the work unfolds as a study in repetition, proximity, and the latent structures of everyday life, offering a restrained yet evocative meditation on presence and the unnoticed rhythms of daily life.
