I’ve decided to start sharing a bit more of myself on here. For a long time I’ve felt that I needed to separate my personal life from my outward facing art life.. as if the personal aspects of me would somehow interfere with this perception of myself I was trying to build for public consumption that said “I’m an artist.” But honestly f**k that. It’s all me. The messy studio, the self indulgent fashion enthusiast, the classic cat lady trope.. I am all of those things.
And at the end of the day, I know that I want to feel as if I can get to know the people I find interesting, or weird, or inspiring. So I’m hoping to let you all get to know me as well.

These last few months have full of experimentation in the studio and pushing myself to think bigger, to put more of myself out there into the world, to take up more space. It’s been really rewarding and I’m excited to step into a new artistic space that I’ll have created for myself. This larger work was a bit of a breakthrough for me, I hope you enjoy her :)
