This is Luna (). She is a Shiba Inu and in this picture kind of looks like she is a highschool freshman at her first dorm party and the seniors are wierd. 13/10, would invite her to a round of beer pong

Long eye contacts between dog and owner made Oxytocin levels rise in both. This is Bailey(). Bailey is our model today for something we all know and love: Puppy eyes! Here is some food for thought: A study about the evolution of facial anatomy in dogs (in the journal PNAS) found out, that dogs have a special mimic muscle that lifts the inner part of the eyebrow and creates the puppy eyes look. Wolfeโ€™s do not have that muscle, that means the puppy eyes are not just a hashtag on instagram, but also a trait that dogs developed during evolution and domestication. Interesting, isnโ€™t it? This is Moose (). Heโ€™s a Corgi and Shiba Inu mix from Brooklyn, New York. Corgi is short for the breed Welsh Corgi Pembroke. Did you know that in welsh mythology they were said to be mounted by fairies? ๐Ÿงšโ€โ™€๏ธ Some still have fur patches on their back that resemble a saddle. This is Fern (.thecorgi). She looks like she walked through a bowl of white paint. Did you know, that all of the different fur colours are produced by just two different forms of Melanin? Melanin is produced by Melanocytes, cells in the upper layers of the skin usually next to the hair follicles. ๐ŸšซPlease stop sending us screenshots from Disney movies! We got this yesterday from ( ). She says this is Harper whose favourite toy is a purple octopus that she carries around all day. Here you can see her making friends with a butterfly. Harper is a Yorkshire Terrier, a breed that has its roots in 19th century northern England. She is very vivid and intelligent. 16/10, We still can not believe that this is real.

This is Bondi (.blueeyes ), a charming long haired mini dachshund. These so-called โ€žWiener dogsโ€œ have been imported from Germany to the United States starting in 1870, initially to use them for rabbit hunt.
