I love the way that living with an artwork lets you see it differently. When it meets the light differently each morning, or catches your eye unexpectedly. When there is time for it to reveal itself slowly. Sometimes what it shows you is as much about the way you’ve changed as it is anything about the painting.
So, I’m grateful that this painting has gone to live with two souls who are open to that kind of seeing. And that it’s found good artwork friends for this slow unfolding.
Is there artwork in your life showing you something new as time passes?
