I’ve recently been obsessed with ‘s artwork and went on a hunt to find some of their recommended art supplies while I was in Japan. ESPECIALLY the Sailor Ink studio series which are hard to find online ( and in Japan also tbh), but I found them and stocked up on them.
I was already getting back into watercolors, but Jennee’s beautiful artwork has pushed me even further 😌🖤

Here’s a lil sketch testing ’s gansai tambi watercolors and Sailor inks. Def more to come~

Once that door was opened, I knew I wanted my creative space to reflect that. I met Kim Jung Gi at NYCC in 2018 and had an opportunity to witness him ask Marcio Takara if he could get his autograph
(Marcio was understandably taken aback 😂).
That was his vibe tho—the world’s energetic art uncle that could draw circles around you, but never boasted about it.

He will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends 💐
