If you have been feeling like this too lately, you‘re definitely not alone. And PLEASE! Stop tormenting yourself about it. It‘s just pouring fuel onto the fire. You know when you‘re exhausted but then you also shame yourself for feeling that way? And you continue depleating your energy levels even more over hours by harrassing yourself about it in your head? When, all you might have needed was to accept the fact that you‘re tired, stop doom scrolling, take a 20min nap, and BOOM, the world is looking a little but more manageable? Not saying a nap will fix burn out. But accepting where you are at, is the first step of finding that compassion for yourself. I love you! You got this! Muah! 💋

Where would I be without all the incredible people that are coming along for the ride? This is what truely made me fall in love with this craft. In kindergarden when they asked me: What do you want to be when you grow up? I replied photographer. Because WHAT DO YOU MEAN this can be your job?? To be creative in a room FILLED with creatives?! To all come together and collectively create ONE final image?!

Every single person in that room has directly or indirectly had their hands in this creation. And WHAT DO YOU MEAN I am the one to hold the camera, and press the button, and capture it all? The gratitude that moment makes me feel will never, ever ever get old! It humbles me every time. My heart thanks the universe… every time.

I will fight for this, every single time. I understand that this job is a priviledge. It‘s extraordinary! And it‘s one of the biggest gifts in my life. Thank you universe. I love you! Muah! 💋

I think one of the hardest parts about feeling out of it like this is that it becomes harder to find your own compassion. It’s so hard to gain some perspective and ground yourself. Or at least it is for me. Like, EVERYTHING feels so chaotic. Every fear I’ve ver had feels real and also every uncertainty feels like proof that something bad is coming! (Runs away screaming)

And in those moments, sometimes we don’t need somebody to “fix” us. We just need someone to remind us of what we already know when we’re more regulated and feel more „normal.“

That’s honestly why I made this video. Partly for anyone else who’s spiraling right now, but also for future me, because I know I’ll need these reminders again too!

Healing is not becoming someone who never gets triggered, anxious, overwhelmed, lonely, hormonal, or afraid. It’s learning how to stay connected to yourself while it’s happening!

Sometimes we just need help remembering that we are safe enough to soften a little but and be nice to ourselves again. 😮‍💨 I hope this helped with that today! Muah! 💋

Spec shoots are really the thing that will get you HIRED. And the truth is, you don’t always need a massive production team to make something look high end. If you can collaborate with other creatives like hair, makeup, or even a friend helping with styling and fit, you instantly raise the production value. And detail orientated, intentional adjustments make a huge difference in how polished the final image looks!

But even if it’s just you and a model, you can still create something really, really amazing. Take your time with light, refine EVERYTHING, and treat the shoot like a real campaign! The real magic often happens in post anyway, where you give it that FINAL polish. That final layer of care is what separates good from truly professional work! Happy shooting. Muah! 💋

Okay none of these might be revolutionary to you. But isn‘t it funny how we all learn things so on our own timeline? Like some things I‘ve had DOWN from day one and then I am learning to write a physical to do list at 30! 😅 I guess it all comes down to learning yourself. Whenever that is… what‘s something that took you surprisingly long to learn?
