Word To The People It’s all in the name! We are an independent theater company with the goal to share Shakespeare’s words with our community in NYC.

We aim to engage audiences by bringing this theatre to them, for free. From Shakespeare to Chekhov, Ibsen to O'Neill, Euripides to Molière - we aim to engage audiences of every gender, sexual orientation, age, ability, race, and economic standing by bringing theater to THEM, for FREE, in parks and public buildings. This form of storytelling, in an environment free of judgement or pretense, is our passion. We want to bring the WORD to the PEOPLE!
