💙 Service Above Self in Action!

Today at our Brooklyn Park Rotary morning meeting, we were fortunate to hear from two of our own Rotarians, Lori and Paul Strong, co-founders of Parenting With Purpose (PWP). Parenting With Purpose

Parenting With Purpose is on a mission to help break the cycle of intergenerational crime. What makes their work so unique is their focus on the entire family as they navigate the incarceration of a loved one — providing support, encouragement and resources to help children, parents and caregivers move forward and build stronger futures together.

Lori and Paul shared more about the families PWP serves, the challenges they face and the meaningful impact that support and connection can make.

We’re proud to have Lori and Paul as fellow Brooklyn Park Rotarians and grateful for the important work they continue to do in our community and beyond. 💙

💙 This is what Oktoberfest is all about!

Today was a proud day for the Brooklyn Park Rotary as fellow Rotarians gathered at City of Brooklyn Park, MN - Local Government City Hall to present a $4,000 check from proceeds raised at last year’s Oktoberfest/Beerfest!

Brooklyn Park Rotary President Larry Woelflin presented the check to Mayor Hollies Winston and members of the Brooklyn Park City Council. The funds will support BrookLynk and Rec-on-the-Go and the important work they do for young people in our community.

🎉 And now it’s time to do it again!
