This little guy is still up for grabs at the sale! While I usually go for more ornate designs, there is something satisfying in the simplicity of the tumbler! I’ve been having so much fun with underglaze lately!

If you are looking for some great handmade goods this holiday season, the show and sale makes its digital debut December 3. Items are available for in store pickup AND shipping this year, so if you’ve always wanted to attend but lived too far away, now is your chance! This year, we are making it really easy to shop small!
Most of my holiday goods will be part of the Feet of Clay sale this year, but I did update a few smaller items on my personal site (link in bio). So if you are looking for mugs, platters, vases, and ornaments, your best bet will be the Feet of Clay show! I can’t wait for its debut!

So honored to be part of this auction 8/16 in support of migrant families. If you are an artist and would like to donate your work, check out slides 2 & 3 for information on how to contribute.

“We are a group of artists that support and stand with migrant families and children who deserve their chance to safely begin their American story and to be treated as human beings. The immigrant’s plight is untenable, and we raise money through art auctions to support organizations that work to promote decency, humanity, compassion, and respect to the process.”

The proceeds of this auction will go to and . Hey friends...exciting news! Been working toward this for a little while now and I am excited to say that my online shop is live!

I think it took so long to make this happen because I always loved doing craft shows, meeting people, and selling my goods in person. Right now however, I have no idea when I’ll get the opportunity to do that again. Besides a few Etsy sales here and there, this is really my first foray into online sales, and I’m definitely open to any tips! (Especially in regards to keeping shipping costs low, which seems to be the bane of a lot of online ceramicists existence!)

Anyway, I’m so excited to share this with you all! You can find the link in my bio!

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far! We have raised over $100 and as a thank you, I am adding this mug to sweeten the deal! Now when you donate, you are twice as likely to win some pottery. So here is the deal:

1. Dontate $5 or more to any charity or organization aimed at helping Black people and the current protests. Here are some suggestions: NAACP, Black Lives Matter, ACLU, Massachusetts Bail Fund, Reclaim the Block, Campaign Zero, The Marsha P Johnson Institute. While those are some suggestions, it is by no means an extensive list.

2. Send a screenshot of your donation to [email protected]. $5 per entry, unlimited entry. If you donate $50 you get 10 entries.

3. All receipts must be dated June 6 or later. If you donated yesterday, you’ll just have to donate again 🤷🏼‍♀️

4. Include your Instagram handle in your email so I can find you if you win.
5. For now, this contest is unfortunately US and Canada only.

6. Please enter by 6/12 midnight est. I will draw the winner on 6/13.

7. The more this is shared, the more money can be raised. I don’t want this to be a marketing ploy, but I do want to make as big of an impact as possible. If this is successful, you can bet I’ll be doing it again.

8. This isn’t the end of the line. Keep donating, vote, work with your community, have conversations, and protest if it is available to you. This work isn’t new, it’s just finally gaining traction among non-BIPOC.

I’ve never done a raffle before, but now seems like a good time to start. Violence against Black Americans has been ignored for far too long. After some self reflection and listening, I have been inspired by other artists using their work to help make change. It’s something I preach a lot to my students, and now is the time to do it myself. I know that conversations are important, but if those conversations don’t turn into action then it’s not enough.
