As part of its international outreach initiatives and its efforts to foster global partnerships for the promotion of Hellenic culture worldwide, the Maliotis Cultural Center of Hellenic College Holy Cross is honored to participate in the 12th International Summer University, “Greek Language, Culture and Media,” which will be held in Sydney, Australia, in September 2026.
Our participation is the natural continuation of a highly successful collaboration developed over the past two years through the International Summer University programs hosted at the Maliotis Cultural Center in Boston. These two international gatherings brought together distinguished scholars, educators, journalists, and members of the Greek Diaspora and were met with exceptional success.
This year’s program, under the theme “The Greek Language in Australia: From Memory to the Future,” highlights the enduring importance of the Greek language and cultural heritage while strengthening bonds among Greek communities around the world.
The Executive Director of the Maliotis Cultural Center, Chrysoula Kourkounti, will deliver a presentation entitled:
“Maliotis Cultural Center: Internationalization, Vision, and Action.”
We are grateful for our ongoing collaboration with Professor Nikoletta Tsitsanoudis-Mallidi, Founder and Scientific Director of the International Summer University, and we look forward to continuing to build bridges among academic institutions, educational organizations, and the global Greek Diaspora.
