✨ Victor’s Legacy in Tattoo Safety & Industry Standards

Since his 1996 apprenticeship, Victor De Los Angeles has been at the center of major advancements in tattoo safety, regulation, and industry organization.

In 1998, Victor secured approval for pre‑sterilized tubes and needles — years before cartridge safety needles existed. These early innovations introduced expiration dates and lot numbers, setting a new standard for accountability and hygiene in tattoo equipment.

In 1999, at Inkslingers Ball, Victor helped organize the first formal Rules for Los Angeles County, laying groundwork for modern tattoo safety guidelines.

By 2010, during the Inglewood Hollywood Park Tattoo Olympics, Victor worked with Cathy Montie to get her bloodborne‑pathogens training approved in Los Angeles County. That approval eventually expanded into national certification through Cal/OSHA and federal health departments, creating a unified training standard now used across most states.

With decades of leadership, innovation, and regulatory influence, Victor has earned the authority to introduce a new platform that sets a higher bar for the entire tattoo industry — including paid judges, paid administration, and zero volunteer labor, ensuring fairness, professionalism, and transparency.

✨ A New Transparent System for Artists

The Invitational features a fully transparent artist dashboard, allowing artists to see exactly where customer payments and charity portions are distributed. Artists maintain full control of their cash flow until payout eligibility is reached through the artist portal.

---

✨ Live‑Streamed Competition — 20 Brutal Categories, 7 Days

Every tattoo is live‑streamed, with clients acting as pledgers who donate toward their chosen art piece. Judging comes from both the public and the pledge donor, and judges are paid for their work.

Once a pledge is complete, clients select their preferred artist in an ordered list from 1–4. If the first artist declines, the remaining three enter a bidding war to secure the client.

The Tattoo Show Invitational brings fun, charity, and much‑needed ink therapy to the Nor‑Cal and Southern Oregon community — all while raising powerful support for the land, the people, and the causes that keep our region strong.

Every tattoo done at the show fuels real impact:
• Two local trees planted per tattoo, helping restore forests and rebuild damaged ecosystems.
• Direct support for woodland firefighters, providing both monetary aid and essential equipment used locally to battle the deadly fire seasons threatening our communities.

Our charitable reach extends across respected organizations including Loma Linda Hospital, the Angelman Syndrome Foundation, Shriners Hospitals for Children, Southern Oregon Animal Rescue, Pitbulls & Parolees, Dog Paws, and more. This Invitational isn’t just an expo — it’s a movement of artists, families, and supporters giving back through creativity and community.

To raise the stakes even higher, the Tattoo Show Invitational features major prize money, bringing championship‑level excitement to the coast. Artists compete, the community benefits, and every tattoo becomes part of a larger purpose.

Here we have an invitational that will bring plenty of fun charity and much needed ink therapy for the nor cal and southern Oregon area.
Each tattoo done at the show will contribute a set amount towards restoring our natural Forrest and eco system starting 2 local trees per tattoo purchased at our show as well as contributing to the protection of our Forrest giving to the woodland firefighters in a both monetary or in the form of equipment used locally to battle these deadly phenomenoms.
Among those charities are organizations such as Loma Linda hospital, angelman’s syndrome, shriners, southern Oregon animal rescue, pitbulls and parolees dog paws org. Etc..

Bold championship-style energy meets coastal sunset drama in these Tattoo Show Invitational posters. From the rocky shoreline of Gold Beach, Oregon to the ornate gold typography and sponsor-lined layouts, every design feels like a main event for tattoo culture. Victor Delosangeles even brings the spotlight in one striking poster, giving the whole series a personal, celebratory edge. It’s a powerful reminder of how strong event branding can turn an art gathering into a true showpiece.

Ok here ya go inksters here’s a QR code to get to all the media outlets for the tattoo show invitational including our contact page on the show site.
For every tattoo done at our show a portion will go to planting 2 trees locally in our Forrest’s as well as fire suppression equipment for local woodland fire crews to battle the annual phenomenon that plagues our land. Many other charity’s will be available to contribute to which each artist will have full control how much from each transaction goes to charity or to their pocket.
Should be interesting to see who’s selfish and who’s all about the mission of the show. Professional artists welcome and must have an apprentice to participate be a licensed partner or true apprentice.
