Do something that's not just for your baby, but also for you 🫂
Our six-week "Move and Bond" class series begins on Friday, October 18 at 4 p.m. The first two classes (10/18 & 10/25) will last from 4:00-5:30 p.m. to give us extra time for baby carrier fit checks and establishing our community norms, while the four others (in November) will be from 4:00-5:00 p.m. Bring a yoga mat or blanket, plus your fabric baby carrier, if you have one – if not, you can reserve one to borrow for classes.
Each class will involve grounding into the space together, floor time, breathing practices, and thoughtfully-sequenced movement, informed by infant developmental progressions and your postpartum body's needs. To ensure a balanced class, minimum enrollment is six child-adult dyads, and the maximum is twelve. Our ideal ratio of adult-to-child is 1:1, though if you are confident tandem wearing or are comfortable with instructor assistance, 1:2 is workable, with advance notice. Class content is best suited to babies and young toddlers who are not yet walking.
We are thrilled to offer a self-reported sliding scale for your investment in the class series:
💧 Stakeholder: $90 ($15/session)
🌱 Supporter: $120 ($20/session)
🌻 Sustainer: $150 ($25/session)
Register with a non-refundable $20 deposit at sign up, with the remainder due by the start of the first class on 10/18, You can pay by cash, check, or PayPal (RGDS). When you register, you'll commit to attending all six classes. Please note that, to participate, you should be at least six weeks postpartum or cleared for exercise by your care provider, whichever comes first.
