I just realized I’ve never properly introduced myself on this page!

Hey!! I’m Taylor Calcote, the owner of The Brick Haven. 🤍

A little fun fact, The Brick Haven was once the old Margaret Ann Britt Fashion Jewelry store. Our back door today was actually the original front door! When this building became available, I just knew I wanted it. The funny thing is… I had absolutely no idea what I wanted to do with it. 😂

If you ask my husband, Brett, he’ll tell you he wasn’t exactly convinced this idea was going to work. But God had other plans. Since opening, we’ve been blessed to be booked almost every weekend, and getting to see so many of your birthdays, baby showers, bridal showers, and celebrations take place here has been more rewarding than I ever imagined.

Another fun fact… my older brother, Branden, actually came up with the name The Brick Haven. If you know me personally, you know Branden is my very best friend. Most of the time, if he says something, it’s golden. ❤️ The name couldn’t have fit this place more perfectly.

Many of you may already know me from DryTime, our locally owned fire and water restoration company here in Brookhaven. Customer service has always been something I’m passionate about. If you’ve ever worked with me, you know I’ll do everything I can to make sure you’re taken care of. If a problem ever comes up, I’ll do my best to make it right. I carry that same mindset into The Brick Haven.

Outside of work, I’m married to my middle school sweetheart, Brett. We started dating right before my 12th birthday, got married in 2020, and welcomed our sweet little girl, Loxley, in 2024. Being her mama is my greatest joy.

And if you know anything about me, then you definitely know about Obi. He’s my soul dog and has been by my side through so many chapters of my life. Along with Obi, we also have another dog, Apollo and our horse, Sonnie.

Owning The Brick Haven has been such a blessing, and I’m so thankful that so many of you have trusted us with your special moments. Every booking, every kind word, and every recommendation means more than you know.

Thank you for being here, supporting a small business, and allowing me to be a small part of your memories. I can’t wait to meet those of you I haven’t had the chance to meet yet. 🤍

New Booking Policy at The Brick Haven

To help us keep The Brick Haven beautiful for every guest, we are adding a $75 refundable security deposit to all new bookings.

Here’s how it works:

• Your 25% non-refundable booking deposit still secures your date and goes toward your rental total.

• A $75 refundable security deposit will also be due before your event.

• The remaining rental balance is due 7 days before your event.

As long as the venue is left the way it was found including returning tables, chairs, and décor to their original setup, removing trash, and no excessive cleaning or damage is required you’ll receive your $75 deposit back within 7 days after your event.

We truly appreciate every person who chooses The Brick Haven for their special moments. This policy simply helps us keep the venue clean, cared for, and ready for the next celebration. Thank you for understanding and for helping us take care of our little venue! 🤍

This weekend, The Brick Haven was filled with so much love as family and friends gathered to celebrate sweet Wilkes a little boy who was prayed for long before he was ever here.
