The Jam Lab is a recording studio, production house, rehearsal facility, and soundstage. At over 4,000 square feet, this versatile space is perfect for large ensembles, spacious recording sessions, musical showcase events, video shoots, and so much more. As a recording studio, the 'Big Room' is an expansive, acoustically treated space that is ideal for artists that prefer to record together and in

the same room. The control room offers isolation necessary to make crucial mixing decisions, and our isolation room and baffling options make the studio flexible enough to suit any artist. We offer a Protools HD system, boutique microphones, preamps, amplification, vintage guitars and keyboards, Yamaha Grand Piano, Sonor Drum Kit and a massive collection of miscellaneous audio gear including compressors and effects. As a production house, we offer the ability to take your project from pre-production, through arranging, scoring, tracking, editing, mixing and mastering to a finished product, all in one place. With a tight knit in-house network of engineers, musicians and film makers, the scope of your project is as wide as your imagination. You will perform on a concert stage, complete with drum riser, stage monitors, JBL PA system, professional lighting and backline. Rehearsing at the Jam Lab is a private alternative to the multi-stage facilities you might be used to, offering a comfortable lounge, dedicated audio engineer, as well as full recording capabilities of your rehearsal. The Jam Lab is ideal for private concert showcases, karaoke parties, wedding receptions, and more. Let us work with you to customize our space for your event! We have two restrooms, a blinded dressing room, kitchenette with large counter top, refrigerator, microwave, and locked storage closet. Additionally, the space opens up into a gorgeous backyard, fully enclosed by an 8' fence, that serves to double the size of the venue. Colin Peterik

This might be the coolest thing we’ve done so far.. Live recording session + VIP fan experience event with Brian Culbertson Official. Fans are immersed in the recording session, with the band isolated in the tracking rooms. Totally unique experience and everyone here is vibing.

Our Story

At The Jam Lab, we believe the success of a production lies within the relationship between the producer and the artist. Since 2012, we have worked hands-on with artists to help bring their vision to life; from songwriting and arranging, to tracking and mixing, all the way to mastering and release. We are dedicated to our clients, and proud to put our stamp on everything that leaves our building.

​Colin Peterik is owner and Chief Engineer of The Jam Lab. Son of Jim Peterik, (The Ides of March, formerly Survivor), Colin and Jim always dreamt of building the perfect studio; flexible for all genres of music, spacious enough to host large ensembles, with an inspirational atmosphere for artists. What started out as a vision became a reality through years of hard work, passion, and a universal love for music.

​Colin has been producing and developing artists for over 10 years; bringing technical, musical, and business knowledge to the table. Colin is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist as well, fronting a solo project "Fever Breaks" and Steely Dan tribute band "Brooklyn Charmers".
