NEWS FROM THE POOL DECK for May 23 and 24, 2026

Due to the current rain the YDEAC Outdoor Pool will CLOSE today (Sat. 5/23) at 1:00pm.

Additionally, due to predicted weather conditions for tomorrow, the Outdoor Pool will be CLOSED for the entire day on Sunday, May 24.

The pools at our Greenknoll Branch will be open on our normal schedule. Please check the Pool Schedule at regionalymca.org for information regarding the Main Pool and Shallow Pool hours.

*Please Note: If thunder and/or lightening occur, our indoor pools may close temporarily for the safety of our members and staff. Please call ahead before heading to the pool, 203.775.4444

Make a Splash this Summer with the Greenknoll Gators Camp Swim Team! 🐊

Whether your child is new to swim team or already loves the water, the Gators are the perfect way to build skills, make friends, stay active, and HAVE FUN — all without giving up other summer activities! Swimmers will improve stroke technique, build endurance and confidence, learn water safety, and experience the excitement of team competition in a positive and encouraging environment. As part of the Stateline Swim League, Gators swimmers are coached by the experienced Mako Swim Club coaching staff and practice in our outdoor pool all summer long!

AGES 6–16 years old. (Children must have completed Kindergarten and be able to swim 25 yards without stopping.)

💦GATOR SEASON June 22 – July 30
PRACTICE TIMES Monday – Thursday 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Memorial Day Weekend Hours 🇺🇸

As we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, please note our modified holiday hours/schedules.

Saturday 5/23 and Sunday 5/24:
Group exercise classes running as normal
No youth classes

Memorial Day (Mon. 5/25):
Greenknoll Branch: 7 AM–12 PM -- Limited Group Exercise Classes: 9 AM Spin, 10 AM Strength
Outdoor Pool (YDAC): 10 AM–4 PM Open Swim for Members & Guests of members ONLY. NO walk-ins will be permitted.

We’re also proud to march in Brookfield’s Memorial Day Parade this Sunday! Adults & families are welcome to join us.
