If you've ever lost or are losing a pet, you know the pain. Get your Kleenex ready cause this has all the feels. My boss knew his girlfriend will be facing the loss of her best friend Tuxedo soon so he had me paint this rock for her in tribute to him and to all the joy that Tuxedo has brought to her over the years.

I used transfer paper and pencil to sketch it out and painted it in with acrylic and metallic paints, sealed it 3 times with Rustoleum 2x sealant spray and hand delivered it to him on their anniversary.

I feel honored to be COMMISSIONED to bring honor to the honorable. It can't get much better than that.

Tiger the cat. This is rock number 10 for the same amazing patron of my art! I loved the challenge of this one and I love staying busy. Sieze the day! Today is a gorgeous one here in the Santa Cruz mountains. Nice break from the refreshing rain. I hope your day is fabulous!

This rock kinda stole my heart. I love the size, the shape, the texture and the outcome. Took it to the cliffs of Seabright Beach to shoot this video so you can hear the waves and seals in the background. I used acrylic paints with metallic acrylics in the eyes and on the background. Whenever I drew something as a child, my Dad (a caricature artist) would always "fix" it by adding white dashes to the eyes. He checked all my work this Thanksgiving and for the first time in my life, he said I got the white right! Only took me 39 years, lol. Proud moment fershure!

Organized my photos yesterday and realized I had accumulated over 600 photos and videos of my since August. Think I need to step up my posting game, lol. It's so hard to choose the best ones, though!

I was in the final stage of sealing this when it somehow got knocked off it's stand and did a face plant onto the tablecloth that was covered in gold spray paint.
Took some careful and tedious work of chipping the gold off with a credit card and a little touch up with paint but it cleaned up pretty nicely. I knew cats had 9 lives but cat rocks do too? That was news to me. @ Brookdale, California
