Come join us tomorrow as we celebrate the Feast of Pentecost, also known as the Birthday of the Church. Veni Creator Spiritus, one of the oldest known chants or hymn tunes in the Christian tradition, is used as an invocation of the Holy Spirit. You will hear the tune, originating in the ninth or tenth century, in several formats during our service. Wear red (or orange for gun violence awareness weekend) and we’ll see you for the party!

Just a friendly reminder that we will be having Lessons and Carols at Saint Patrick's Episcopal Church on Sunday evening, December 2, at 6:30. The choir will be joined by our well-loved Nika Muñoz on cello and Laura Pillman, an instructor at NSU, on flute. There will be a reception to follow.

Nika Muñoz, well known and much loved by our congregation, will be playing the cello in the 10:30 service on Sunday morning. She will accompany the choir on the anthem and play part of Bach's Cello Suite No. 1 during communion. Just another reason you won't want to miss church on Sunday!

The Choir at Saint Patrick's will be singing tomorrow morning at the 10:30 service. After a summer hiatus, it is exciting to have their voices heard once again!
The text to the anthem was written by Archbishop Thomas Cranmer as a Collect for Quinquagesima Sunday (the Sunday before Ash Wednesday) for the first Book of Common Prayer in 1549.
Hope to see you there!

The 2018 Choir Retreat was a smashing success. A few had to duck out before we took this picture, but thanks to all who showed up! Your presence and participation are a treasure. We are looking forward to a year of amazing music and great fun. And please do say hi to our newest member and mascot, Agnes Day, who is sitting on Susan's lap...sweet little lamb.
