"Chalk It Up!" An Art Festival

Chalk It Up is ALMOST HERE! 🎉 Broken Arrow's family art festival returns Sept 11-12th. But there's still time to register to compete in this year's chalk art competition. Hurry today before registration fees increase to $50 starting tomorrow.

You can sign up as individuals or as a team. Age divisons are Kids (Ages 6-11), Youth (Ages 12-18) or Adults (18+).

You'll be competing for $100 cash prizes for Best Interpretation of Themes and Best Composition in each age division. And WHAT'S THAT? This year we've increased both the Best In Show and People's Choice Award to a whopping $250! 💸💸💸

Worried about submitting your design? Black and white sketches are fully acceptable. Just give us your concept and you're ready to go!

Every year at the festival we partner with the Broken Arrow Rose festival to hold an all ages community art contest inside Arts@302. If you want to show your artwork and participate, you have until the end of the weekend to submit!

Our local artist vendors are part of what makes Chalk It Up amazing! We still have 10 spots up for grabs. With a prime spot on the Rose District, you can sell your original wares to the near 30,000 festivalgoers.

We want YOU as a chalk artist on September 11-12! We're inviting artists of all ages to compete in this year's chalk art competition. Artists will compete in 3 age divisions: Kids (6-11), Students (12-18), and Adult (18+)

Paying homage to the Route 66 Centennial, every chalk drawing this year will be inspired by either a location or a piece of music. What story will your art tell this year?

You read that right! We are hiring a new full time position! 💖

ARTSOK (our parent nonprofit organization) is looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator to help share the stories, creativity, and impact behind our growing family of arts programs, including Arts@302 art classes and gallery shows, Chalk It Up, Tuesdays in the Park, the Spotlight Series, Mimosas Off Main, and more. You’ll capture the moments that happen in our classrooms, galleries, and community events and turn them into engaging content that inspires people to participate.

We’re looking for a creative, organized storyteller to join our small but mighty team and help bring the arts to over 38,000 people across Northeastern Oklahoma. This role will shape how ARTSOK connects with the community through social media, websites, print materials, and events. If you love creating content, finding meaningful stories in everyday moments, and balancing creativity with organization, we’d love to have you help us share the ARTSOK story.

"Road Trip Playlist: Sights and Songs" pays homage to the Route 66 Centennial while also celebrating all journeys taken on the road. This year, every chalk drawing will be inspired by either a specific location and/or a piece of music. We'll even have QR codes so you can listen along to the Chalk It Up playlist! 🎶
