Choose a piece of art from “WILD DREAMS” and get a Western movie we think you’ll like! 🤠

Ever wanted a chance to premiere a film at a film festival? Now's your chance! 🎬

Students in our Lights, Camera, Action! summer camp will spend a week creating an original short film from script to screen alongside Oklahoma film industry professionals.

Working in production teams, campers will gain hands-on experience in directing, acting, camera operation, sound, editing, costume design, and set creation using real industry equipment. 🎥

The week will conclude with a premiere screening for family and friends, and selected films will be screened at the inaugural Broken Arrow Film Festival this October.

Get ready to create bold and textured artwork inspired by the ancient art of batik. In this hands-on class taught by instructor Grace Hamilton, young artists will explore a fun, kid-friendly twist on the traditional process using paint, chalk, and a little bit of magic. 🎨🌟

Students will design their own colorful artwork, learn how to layer tempera paint, and use chalk as a resist to create hidden patterns. Afterwards, they’ll transform their pieces with a dramatic “crackle” effect using India ink, revealing rich lines and textures that make each artwork completely unique. 🖌✨

This class is perfect for curious creators who love experimenting and aren’t afraid to get a little messy. Every student will leave with a striking, one-of-a-kind piece full of color, contrast, and texture.

Need a date night? We’ve got your kids covered! Kids ages 6-12 will watch Disney’s Tinkerbell, create pipe cleaner bouquets and paper mache animal sculptures, and enjoy a pizza dinner on us! This drop-off event will be fully supervised by our camp assistants and is designed to be a cozy, creative night your kids will love.

Because we’re located right in the beautiful Broken Arrow Rose District, there’s tons of fantastic date night spots within walking distance to Arts@302 as well! 🌹

This will be an evening of imagination, nature-inspired art, and summer magic. 🧚‍♀️🌸 Perfect for kids who love crafting, storytelling, and getting creative in a welcoming environment!

If you’re planning a trip to the Broken Arrow Farmer’s Market this Second Saturday, swing by the art center while you’re enjoying the Rose District! We have so many fun activities planned! Reminder that we’re open till 8pm on Saturdays now! ☺️

💿 DIY Album Covers | 10am-1pm | Outside South Patio (will be moved to First Floor Studio if it rains!)
For June’s Second Saturday Art Activity, we’ll be creating our own album cover art. Participants will choose from a variety of fictional music acts and track lists on small CD-sized paper templates, then use a mix of 2D art supplies to design an album cover that matches the tone, theme, and mood of the music. Once finished, you can slide your artwork into a real jewel case for display. You’ll even get to draw and collage on a blank CD to complete the look! As always, complimentary donuts, coffee, and juice will be provided.

Kreative Koncepts with Ms. Khrysta Papalini is a course designed for young artists to explore a different art medium each week, all while creating unique projects tied together under one fun, imaginative theme. 🎨

Each month has a different theme, and in July we’re going Under (the) Sea! 🌊

In this 3-week course, we’ll explore different art styles and materials while creating projects inspired by vibrant sea creatures. 🪸🐠

Week 1: Sculpt mini versions of sea life and their favorite things using Model Magic (1–3 creations depending on size)
Week 2: Paint a colorful sea life portrait while learning how to blend and work with a monochromatic color palette
Week 3: Use charcoal and shading techniques to create an underwater still life with bold lights and shadows

We have some exciting news! 🎉

This summer, the Art Center will be open until 8 PM every Saturday through the summer! We know many of our community members love visiting our gallery exhibitions on the weekends, so we're extending our hours to make it easier for more people to stop by and explore. 🌃

This Saturday is Second Saturday, which means there will be activities happening throughout the building. Whether you're coming to see the galleries, make art, or discover something new, there's plenty to experience.

Swing by and see what we have going on, we'd love to see you!

CALLING ALL YOUNG PIRATE ARTISTS! 🦜 We only have 1 spot left in next weeks summer art camp, Pirates and Paintbrushes! Will you be our final pirate? 🖌️

Our campers will spend the week creating with four of our Teaching Artists create fun art projects across the seven seas of creativity. On the final day of camp, all work will displayed across our classrooms for a special end-of-camp gallery reception.
