❤️🚒 THANK YOU FROM THE BRODHEAD FIRE DEPARTMENT! 🚒❤️

With the 2026 Little World’s Fair officially in the books, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who made this week possible.

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who came through our gates. Whether you joined us for one night or came back night after night, your support directly benefits the Brodhead Fire Department.

Many people may not realize that the Little World’s Fair is the primary funding source for the Brodhead Fire Department. The money raised during this week helps keep our apparatus on the road, maintain and replace equipment, provide training, and give our volunteer firefighters the resources they need to answer the call when our community needs us.

But this fair doesn’t happen without an incredible amount of work behind the scenes.

👏 To our volunteers — thank you for giving your time and working countless long, hot hours wherever you were needed.

🎟️ To our counter help, including our local high school athletic teams — thank you for stepping up and working the counters. The BFD is proud to make a donation to your groups.

🚒 To our firefighters — thank you for the long days and late nights. Many of you worked your regular jobs, worked the fair each evening, and still remained ready to respond to emergency calls throughout the week.

❤️ To our firefighter families — thank you for sharing your loved ones with this department and this community. Fair week requires a tremendous amount of time away from home, and we couldn’t do what we do without your patience, understanding, and support. Also, thank you to those of you who came out and helped—we couldn’t do it without you.

🏛️ To our Mayor and Brodhead City Council — thank you for your continued support of the Little World’s Fair and the Brodhead Fire Department.

👷 To our City of Brodhead employees — thank you for all the hard work before, during, and after the fair. So much of what you do happens behind the scenes, but it certainly doesn’t go unnoticed.

🍔 And to our cooks — THANK YOU! You spent long, hot hours preparing food and keeping everyone fed throughout the week. It is hard work, and we appreciate every hour you put in.

There are simply too many people to name individually. From setting up before the first gate ever opened to cleaning up after the final person left, this fair took countless hours and a community of people willing to work together.

The Little World’s Fair is more than a week of rides, pulls, rodeos, derbies, racing, and family fun. It is neighbors supporting neighbors. Every ticket purchased and every person who volunteered helped provide funding that will be put right back into protecting this community.

From every member of the Brodhead Fire Department, thank you for another successful Little World’s Fair and for continuing to stand behind your volunteer fire department.

We couldn’t do it without you.
