The “First Steps” and “Classics” programs represent the founding ideal of the once a week, no audition necessary dance classes for boys, girls, teens and adults, culminating in a professionally produced recital each May. Through audition or faculty recommendation, the unique "Project Moves" program offers dedicated young dance artists an exceptional array of intensive training and performance oppo

rtunities. "Mind Body Soul" Summer Intensive affords eager students from around the country full week and multi-week summer programs with the prestigious in-house and guest faculty The GOLD School is so well known for. Graduates have been accepted to prominent summer programs, dance colleges/universities and are recipients of the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts highest scholarship awards. In addition to studying at these prestigious colleges and universities, many alumni are currently working in the most sought after dance roles and companies in the country. Alum Kenny Wormald starred as Ren McCormick in Paramount Pictures 2011 release of Footloose, 12-year-old Noah Parets stars as “Billy” in the national tour of Broadway’s Billy Elliot, David and Jacob Guzman are currently appearing in the Disney’s hit Broadway show Newsies, Katie Kozul and Jules Joseph can be seen with one of America’s leading concert dance companies Hubbard Street and both Kyle Robinson and Rory Freeman will appear in the national tour of the Shaping Sound Dance Company.

Congratulations to 2026 TGS Senior Elliana Cabellon! 🖤💛

”I started dancing at The Gold when I was 3 years old! I’ll be attending Dean college in the fall to get my BFA in Musical Theatre and I’ll also be attending the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) gap program in New York City for training in Musical Theatre! My favorite dance memories consist of learning combos from Kellie in contemporary, going ALL OUT in hip hop with Jackie, and of course the iconic ballet finale lift every year. Dance has given me purpose, instilled drive, and provided an outlet of artist expression for 15 years and on. I’m so grateful to The Gold School for giving me that safe space. 💛”

Congratulations to 2026 TGS Senior Caileigh Thomas! 🖤💛

I started dancing at 4 years old, perused other interests and returned in my later teenage years.

I will be working for a year before attending cosmetology school. I plan to become a successful business owner.

My favorite dance memory is being dropped by a friend before ballet and it knocked out my two front teeth.

Dance has helped me become more outgoing and not afraid to do something on my own.

I’ve been dancing for 15 years, I started at age 3. I plan to go to college for early childhood education. My favorite dance memories are the recitals. Dance has built my confidence and given me a purpose.

Meet Breanna!

I started dance when I was 3 years old. My favourite memory is every year when we did the recital at Brockton High, I love seeing everyone slip and fall because we’re running back and forth to the dressing rooms. I remember doing it a few times myself and it’s a game of who’s going to fall first. My future plans are to study Aeronautical Science and fly planes down at Florida Tech in Melbourne. Dance has severely impacted my life by creating who I am and the people I have met. It gave me not only something to do but a place to belong and look forward to every year.
