In case you haven't already heard the news, The Off Broadway Players were recently voted as Best Stage Theatre in the 2026 Daily News-Record's "Best of the Valley" poll AND Best Live Theatre in the 2026 Harrisonburg Media Group's "Shenandoah Valley Best" poll.

Thank you to every person who voted, attended a show, donated, volunteered backstage, built sets, ran lights and sound, sold concessions, shared our posts, brought friends, or simply believed in community theatre here in Broadway, Virginia. This award belongs to all of you.

What started as a local theatre dream has grown into something truly special because of the incredible support from this community. We are proud to call the beautiful Town of Broadway our home and proud to bring live theatre, laughter, music, drama, and unforgettable memories to the Shenandoah Valley.

Final weekend of Tuesdays with Morrie start tonight! Hope to see you at the Sipe Center.

There's no movie playing at Sipe Center this week as we will have Tuesday's with Morrie Presented by The Off Broadway Players Friday & Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 3:00 pm!

Tickets are $17. Tickets are available for purchase at sipecenter.com/liveperformances, over the phone or in person at the box office. The box office is open for in-person sales Thursday through Sunday from 3-8 pm or sales by phone at 540-908-4208.

The Off Broadway Players 2026 Season kicks off on Friday with a powerful production of "Tuesdays with Morrie". Based on the autobiographical book by Mitch Albom, "Tuesdays with Morrie" chronicles the life lessons that are learned when a student reunites with his former college professor who has contracted ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). All ticket revenue from the upcoming shows at J. Frank Hillyard Middle School will be donated to Tim Turner (a former BHS baseball coach who was diagnosed with ALS in March 2025) and his family to help defray medical expenses. Tickets can be purchased at the door or reserved online at The Off Broadway Players website (offbroadwayplayersva.org).
