The Static Stardust Throw has officially devoured its FIRST entire skein of black yarn. 💀🧶

And because apparently we’re committed to constructing the entire night sky by hand… skein #2 has entered the chat. 😂

Current situation:

🖤 1 whole skein of black yarn — GONE
⭐ 6 rows of yellow stars — DONE
🧶 Skein #2 — READY FOR SACRIFICE
✨ Me — way too excited every time another row of stars appears

I absolutely LOVE how those yellow stars are popping against the black. 😍⭐

How many skeins do we think this blanket is going to eat before I’m finished? 😂

The night sky is slowly coming together! 🖤🌌

I’ve been working away on my Static Stardust Throw, and I’m LOVING how those little yellow stars pop against the black. ⭐ Every row makes it look a little more like a chaotic crochet night sky.

Is it finished? Nope. 😂
Am I already obsessed with it? ABSOLUTELY.
