Don't forget to join us TODAY for our ribbon cutting! Bristol Ballet invites the community to celebrate an exciting new chapter during a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, August 29 at 5pm!

The event marks the completion of significant renovations to the ballet's facility, including a brand-new lobby and dressing room spaces, as Bristol Ballet continues to grow into the building it purchased four years ago.

This event is free and open to the public; come see the new space and celebrate with us!

We have had a wonderful first couple weeks of classes! From making new friends, to trying new steps, to auditioning for the Nutcracker, our dancers and teachers have loved getting back in the swing of things!

Did you know that Bristol Ballet offers rolling admission throughout the year? It's never too late to join us, even though classes have already started! We offer quality dance training for all ages: Dance with Me classes for 12 months-2 year olds; preschool dance classes using the DiscoverDance curriculum for ages 3-5; quality ballet training and more for ages 6 and up; adult ballet for all levels; tap for adults and ages 6 and up; Recreational Teen Ballet; and more! Did you know that Bristol Ballet uses the DiscoverDance curriculum for our preschool classes? This nationally recognized curriculum for young dancers focuses on teaching foundational dance concepts in developmentally appropriate ways. The program readies the young dancer for more complex ballet terminology while also developing imagination and expression (with a healthy dose of having fun as well!)

This curriculum teaches young dancers about many important concepts, including motor skills, spatial awareness, coordination, strength, social skills, and much more. These skills set these young dancers up for success with any style of dance.

Did you know that Bristol Ballet also offers Tap classes, in addition to ballet?

Three age groups of Tap are offered at Bristol Ballet – Ages 4-6; Ages 7 and up; and Adult. Beginners are welcome!

Tap is a percussive style of dance that creates rhythms with the tapping of a metal plate on the dancer's shoes. Learn the fundamentals of Tap and have a great time! There are potential performing opportunities in the spring for interested dancers.

Registration for our Tap classes, as well as all our other classes, is open at www.bristolballet.org/registration. We have rolling admission, so start anytime! We hope you join us!

Did you know that we offer preschool class times on weekends and weekdays this season? There's a class time for every schedule!

We still have limited spots available in our preschool classes:

🚨 New class alert! 🚨 It's not too late to join us! Drop ins welcome.

We are excited to announce a new class this fall for teens! Teen Ballet is a great introductory class for beginners who haven’t tried ballet before. It is also a wonderful option for dancers who seek the benefits of ballet training without the commitment of multiple classes per week. This is also a perfect opportunity for supplemental ballet training for those involved in musical theater, color guard, band, gymnastics, and other performing arts. Ballet is also a wonderful supplement for athletes in any sport, especially football, basketball, and soccer. Even Michael Jordan and Lynn Swann took ballet class! Ballet can offer many benefits, such as improved posture, strength, flexibility, coordination, focus, balance, lateral movement, footwork, leg and core strength, and confidence. Learn ballet basics in a supportive and fun environment! (Ballet attire not required!)
