It’s true that lately you can throw a stone in Bucks County and hit another small business hosting an arts & crafts workshop. So what makes us different??? ⤵️
First off, hi! We’re Mel and Tori and we opened this studio in 2023!
Anyway, back to the question. So what DOES make us different than the rest?!
🎨 You know how people say that Philly/ Bucks County needs a “third space”? Well, we’re it! Wanna meet up with friends without having to sit over food and drinks? Wanna meet new people? We welcome it!
🎨 We don’t use AI because we value human-made art!!
🎨 We’re both art therapists. And while we don’t practice art therapy in our studio with our community, we do know the healing benefits of art-making. We also know how frustrating making art can be, especially as an adult who maybe hasn’t had the easiest time making art in the past. That’s ok and that’s normal! We’re here to hold space for all levels of artists!
🎨 Our materials are included in every single workshop and class! It’s all included in our ticket prices. So you just need to bring yourself!
🎨 We’ve had years (decades, even) of experience teaching and taking art classes. Chances are if you want us to run a workshop, we just might have the skills to do so! And if not, we most likely have an artist friend who does.
🎨 We never judge an artist’s work. We don’t hold competitions or contests. And if we hear you judge your own crafting, we will probably (kindly) yell at you because everyone is an artist!!! 😅😅
