I got to play around with clay yesterday in my drawing class! I was underwhelmed at first with my idea of stacking rocks but I thought it would look cute on my porch when finished! We will eventually be drawing this form using cross contouring lines. The rounded shape will help me in the end!

When projects collide and they actually look good together! I love making separates because that's how I shop. I never buy an "outfit". I'm always experimenting with my own wardrobe so it makes sense that's how I create! This is a patchwork denim wrap skirt that needs a waistband and finishing touches. I cut the top last night out of a dress I loved but didn't fit anymore. So now it's something different! I'm going to add black lace to give it something extra!

I can't sketch. It's very obvious when looking at this one from last year! With that aside, I created 6 out of 8 things on this pitiful paper. It goes to show that our intentions are what count! The items I made look a whole lot better than what I drew but they embody their sketches perfectly! Thanks to past me for putting it on paper and following through! On to the next!
