AUDITIONS for the KU Theatre Department Spring 2018 productions of "A Twin City Radio Theatre Valentine" and "Snoopy: The Musical!" will begin Tuesday (Jan 9), and continue Wednesday (Jan 10) and Thursday (Jan 11) from 7:00-9:00PM in the Fine Arts Theatre (WA — Women’s Aux. Building) on the King University Campus in Bristol, TN. Performance dates for "A TCRT Valentine" are: Feb 14, 15 and 16. Performance dates for "Snoopy: The Musical!" are April 5, 6 and 7. AUDITIONS for the KU Theatre Department Fall 2017 Twin City Radio Theatre production of “Frankenstein” will be held this Wednesday (Aug 23), Thur (Aug 24) and Friday (Aug 25) at 6:30-8:03PM in the Fine Arts Theatre (WA — Women’s Aux. Building) on the King University Campus in Bristol, TN. Performance dates: Sept 29-Oct 1

Description of The Twin City Radio Theatre: Radio drama has often been described as “the theatre of the mind.” Like its sister genres, storytelling, reader’s theatre and narrative theatre, radio drama demands active, imaginative participation from the audience. The Twin City Radio Theatre provides a unique theatrical experience for our visitors, not unlike what you might have experienced as a studio audience member in the 1940s or 50s: actors gathered around microphones with scripts in hand, a mixture of live and recorded sound effects and colorful hosts setting the proper mood for the evening’s dramatic offerings.

Script selections will be available for “cold reading” auditions.
