Aaron Hurd is a NASCAR fan since childhood, who earned his doctorate from East Tennessee State University where he wrote his dissertation "Leadership Styles of Head NASCAR Executives: A Historical Perspective." Justin Harris is a outdoorsman of the Appalachian Mountains. After studying and practicing herpetology, he became known locally as "The Snake Master." As a lifelong NASCAR fan, Justin has seen 5 of the 7 generations of NASCAR run in person. Along with Jordan Blackson and their NASCAR friends.

MORE GREEN, LESS YELLOW? 🏁

NASCAR is actively looking at ways to cut down caution laps.

After 27 laps spent under yellow at the Brickyard 400, NASCAR VP of Racing Communications Mike Forde confirmed on the Hauler Talk podcast that officials are evaluating changes to get back to green-flag racing faster.

What’s on the table:
🟨 Moving the Choose V location to eliminate unnecessary cautions
🏁 Streamlining stage-break yellow procedures
📊 Tracking & maximizing green-flag time per race

Forde put it plainly: NASCAR matches the fans’ frustration with long caution periods and wants green-flag racing back as fast as possible.

Chandler Smith won’t be back with Front Row Motorsports in 2027.

FRM is thanking him for repping their CRAFTSMAN Truck Series program well — four wins with the No. 38 team over the past two seasons is nothing to sneeze at. Best of luck to Chandler on whatever’s next.

The team says they’re staying focused on competing at the front and chasing championships the rest of 2026 and beyond, with more on the 2027 lineup to come.
