We need your help!
After we have had a very successful five years in downtown Brighton, we are hoping that you can help support Our New Performing Arts Center in Brighton. Last year we brought in over 4000 people to downtown Brighton. Our theatre goers enjoyed seven (7) main stage performances, two (2) children’ shows, hosted two singers and brought in six (6) Sam Rose comedy nights.
Livingston County thrives on its vibrant community. Now, we have the opportunity to purchase our own building and have a permanent home for the future!
This dedicated performing arts center will be more than just a stage. It will be a gathering space for residents of all ages to experience the magic of live performances, by continuing to offer Professional Theatre, Children’s Theatre, Comedy and live music shows to name a few. We will continue to nurture talent from all around Southeastern Michigan and enrich the Arts in our community for generations to come.

We Need Your Support:
The down payment to purchase this building is $500,000 and we have 30 days to raise this amount. This will secure the property and cover all architectural and engineering plans to create the theatre space inside. Your contribution, no matter the size, will be instrumental in making this vision a reality!

Investing in the Arts:
We are seeking generous donors to help us transform a 4,500 sq. ft. building into the NEW home for A Wilde Theatre.
This space will include:
• Parking
• Classroom for teaching children and adult classes
• Room to have our props, costumes and set building supplies in house
• Rental space for parties, events and classes

And yes . . . the Brighton Art Guild will continue to provide art on the walls. We hope our new home will, once again, be the cornerstone of our community, attracting visitors and boosting local restaurants and businesses.

We invite you to join us in this exciting endeavor. If you are interested in contributing to this amazing space, you can start by emailing us your pledge by March 31st. If we receive enough pledges, actual funds will not be due until the end of April.

Its a wrap! Thanks to my amazing team for moving my theatre into a shed while we try to find a new home! It has been an amazing 5 years in downtown Brighton. I Hope we can find a new home in the near furture! Thank to all my theatre goers, advertisers and sponsors for all your support! You have all been amazing and I appreciate all your support. A special thank you to my moving team, Al Pelky, Greg Maida, Kevin Corr, Chris Allman, Aria Allman, Jay Timko, Aspen Jendrusik, Jeff (JJ) Jackowski for all your help. We had our last show of The Ladies Foursome, by Norm Foster on Saturday and strike the theatre on Sunday. This cast was amazing and their show had a standing ovation! Congratulations to the cast and a heartfelt thank you to all my support in downtown Brighton over the last 5 years! Much love to you all!

HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEWS? The theatre is closing on September 30. After 5 years in downtown Brighton, A Wilde Theatre is looking for a new home! Yes, the building is being used for something else and its time to move on. We are looking for a 3000 square foot building, with it own parking lot, and at least 14 ft. ceilings in the Brighton/Howell area.

We have loved being downtown, but finding the required space has been challenging (if not impossible) to find. (We have been looking for about 5 months). Yes, I have reached out to several commerical agents, but we have not found a space. So, The Ladies Foursome is my last show at 111 S. West St. The theatre is being moved into storage with hopes of finding a new building by the first of the year! Thank you to everyone one that has joined us for a show!

My Theatre Friends, Sponsors and Advertisers have been wonderful! My production staff was amazing to work with and I hope to entertain you again in the near future! If you know of a space, feel free to contact me. We hope you will come out and enjoy of last show!
