Big day for CIA! Over the last few years we have had a couple instances where we had refrigeration issues and had to close unexpectedly. All of those issues were caused by the failing Evaporative Condenser for our Ammonia system. And today thanks to some big help from Bridgton Academy we were able to replace our old unit.

Special thanks to Cote Crane & Rigging for the help removing the old Condenser and placing the new one on the tower.

And a huge thank you to Northstar Refrigeration, Inc. for all their hard work installing the new unit and for giving our refrigeration system a much needed tune up!

We are closing in on our reopening date of June 29th for the start of Bridgton Sports Camp!! Can’t wait to see everyone back on the ice!

Part 2 of our dasher board refacing! Another big thank you to the crew at Ice Ops & Arena Consulting Inc. and to the Bridgton Academy staff members who jumped in to help drill holes and set screws.

Step one of a huge offseason for CIA is complete. The boards look great! And there’s more big improvements to come. Stay tuned!

Huge thank you to the crew at Ice Ops & Arena Consulting Inc.

Here is a sneak peak at one of our big upgrades this offseason! Our old boards were purchased used 27+ years ago. They were brittle and had started to crack, and the kickplates had worn paper thin.

As soon as we finished taking our ice out Ice Ops came in and started work on removing the old boards and installing brand new Poly. The finished product looks amazing! Keep an eye out for Part 2!

We have officially reached the end of the ‘25-‘26 season! Thank you to everyone for another great year. We will be back bigger and better for the ‘26-‘27 season at the end of June!

Congratulations to our 2025–2026 BHL Open League Champions JC Marketing!

With a thrilling 4-3 2OT victory against Big Dave’s. A battle between two evenly matched teams who went 3-3 head to head during the season and ended the regular season with identical 15-4 records.
