To commemorate summer love, check out our Wedding Bowls. Hand painted peony blooms bursting forth captures the joy of a wedding that will last for centuries.

Our family’s ties to flowers go back centuries. From Lydia Shackleton’s botanical paintings held at the Dublin Botanic Gardens in Ireland, to our sister-in-law Daphne Leving Shackleton’s current botanical work. And Charlie’s brother, a garden designer, Arthur Shackleton, whose garden Fruitlawn, in Abbeyliex, Co. Laois is a must-see destination.

Our latest Forget-Me-Not collection, is the perfect addition to any summer décor. Each stem and flower is meticulously hand painted in a deep Cobalt blue on a pure white milky glaze.

For centuries the Shackleton family in Ireland has celebrated flowers. Through collecting them as keen gardeners, plantsmen, and even having flowers named after them. Shackletons have also studied botany and are still well known for their paintings of floral subjects.

Summer is the time to celebrate flowers! Their beautiful blossoms and fleeting nature, filling our senses, all while being a vital part of the everlasting cycle of life.

This month, we are highlighting our collection of floral motifs, inspired by the beauty that surrounds us, and its ties to our rich history.

For fans of our Black Carved collection, make sure to check out our hand carved Poenies bowls, mugs, vases, and more! Each piece is dipped in an iron-rich liquid slip before the design is drawn freehand. Developed over decades, these iconic pieces are one of Miranda's signature designs.

While the winter chill remains in the Northeast, the first signs of spring have arrived at the Shackleton Thomas Showroom. We are thrilled to announce the release of our 2026 Golden Eggs, each one individually hand-painted by Miranda Thomas.

These limited-edition treasures are exquisite works of art, featuring intricate motifs hand-detailed with 24k Dresden Gold for a luminous, heirloom finish.
