Today marks the official start of Week of Giving, our annual campaign to support Easterseals Massachusetts programming. This year, we have set a goal of receiving 100 gifts from October 5 - 9, and even better, thanks to the generosity of Elizabeth and Eric Oddleifson, every dollar donated will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $5,000, doubling the impact of your gift and helping us reach even more individuals and families.

October is Disability History Month in Massachusetts, and we are celebrating with an afternoon of creativity, connection, and fun!

For young adults ages 14-26, join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at 89 South St. in Boston for a Disability History Month Celebration featuring games, activities, and the opportunity to design your own Disability Pride Flag while learning about the importance of disability history.

Congratulations to Patrick Remy for representing Easterseals Massachusetts' Accessible Martial Arts program at the DCR Summer Wrap-Up Event at the Blackstone River Greenway Visitor Center in Worcester!

Patrick was honored to receive a citation from Governor Maura Healey, presented by DCR Commissioner Nicole LaChapelle, recognizing the impact of our Accessible Martial Arts programs offered this summer in Boston and Worcester. We are proud to expand opportunities for individuals with disabilities to build confidence, strength, and community through supportive recreation.
