There is a certain magic that exists in moments when the experience lives up to the high anticipation. Last evening's Music Alley Summer Concert Series season finale was exactly that. We cannot thank Ward Hayden & The Outliers and Daniel Miller & The High Life enough for their fantastic performances and even more so for being the best type of humans. You all helped to create some core memory moments.

We feel this way every week, but we can't say enough about the fabulous people at Black Hat Brew Works and Thunderbolt Productions. This doesn't work without them. Thank you both!

And most importantly, there is no free, high-quality live music events each week without our fantastic community. Your support, presence, and generosity have powered and inspired us to create something that is very special, and most importantly - it is ours. This belongs to all of us and we cannot wait to bring you another year full of live music and events.

The Friends of Music Alley Present: Ward Hayden & The Outliers and Daniel Miller & The High Life

We've got a special lineup for our Season Finale this evening with Daniel Miller & The High Life opening the evening for Ward Hayden & The Outliers. This North Shore Country vs. South Shore Country event brings two of the Commonwealth's best independent country acts together for one great night of live music.

If you haven't already experienced Daniel Miller and the boys live yet, then be sure to get to Black Hat Brew Works early, so you can take it all it. In the meantime, here is a great video to give you a peek into their music.

Making the trip down from the North Shore to represent some of MA's best country music from north of the city is Daniel Miller & The High Life.

These guys have performed for Music Alley and Black Hat crowds previously and were very highly regarded. Daniel Miller is a dedicated student of the art of country music and a phenomenal song writer. Catching these guys opening up for Ward Hayden & The Outliers is going to be special. You can count on it.

We have a BIG SEASON FINALE planed for you this Thursday! If you've caught Ward Hayden & The Outliers live at a Music Alley event, then you know how special this Thursday evening is going to be.

Last season, their show was hit with a horrible storm, so we packed folks into Black Hat Brew Works's beautiful taproom. There were so many people that a bunch of folks continued to sit outside Black Hat and listened to the concert live on the speakers that were set up in the parking lot despite the foreboding black clouds that were approaching. It was an amazing site to see!

The weather looks much more promising this time around, so come catch them live outside in Black Hat's beautiful outdoor venue. We'll have the Curbside Cookin' food truck on site and Jr's Snowcones serving up frozen treats. You don't want to miss this one!

Ward Hayden & The Outliers are representing their home turf, as the South Shore's preeminent country music act takes the stage at Black Hat Brew Works with the contenders from the Nork Shore - Daniel Miller & The High Life.

This phenomenal evening of live music is and open to all ages. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate the end of successful season of live music with this titanic matchup of country music stalwarts.

The weather didn't cooperate, but we still had a great evening rocking out with Nate Perry & Ragged Company and Matthew Bishop last Thursday. A little rain didn't stop us.
