We have come so far only to find ourselves at the same crossed roads
Crossed eyes and crossed and minced words

Nothing changes but the seasons and rarely around here

Miles like tears they come and go
And add up far too vast to measure in our time

The night becomes day again…

We still try and shine our selves from the tarnish of years
Denying the fundamental truth of age and mistakes

Stunted growth is inevitable…

Milk, juice, and then something strong

Hail Ole’ time to whom we owe the age,
And hail the fact it doesn’t matter

The artist, if too misunderstood is always just a fool…

Wasting the time on clocks of another construction
Never heard the tick toc only the chime of eternity

The full gravity of giving in has never been measured
Because the truth has yet to be weighted

All scribes have died off and crumbled beneath the weight of modern times
All but I who still utilize and honest eye

To whom it may concern, we are all unusually beautiful
And perfect in our flaw
