Something I've noticed at every Café con Bachata: the energy in the room is only as good as the people who show up to hold it. The beginners feel welcome because someone made them feel welcome. The floor comes alive because experienced dancers chose to be generous with their time, their patience, their energy.

If you've been dancing for a while, I'm talking to you specifically. You remember what it felt like your first social. A little lost, watching everyone else, feeling nervous that you weren't good enough or didnt know enough moves. You have the chance to be the person who changes that for someone else on June 27th. That's not a small thing.

And if this is your first time, you're walking into a room full of people who want to see you find your rhythm. That's what we're building here.

Beginner Bachata class at 8pm, then social dance to bachata, salsa and merengue until 11. No partner needed.

This Saturday, June 6th, I am collaborating with 6 phenomenal women for a "women supporting women" fundraiser benefiting Safe Haven of Waterbury.

​🛑 The Details: We will have dance battle between salsa and Bachata. Come learn the shine at 8:30 PM, We invite you to arrive early before 9:30 PM to donate your $10 entry ticket. If you miss the early window, you can still come by and donate after 9:30 through raffles and song requests.

Many people think people who dance just... have it.

Like rhythm was something you were born with, or you weren't. And if you grew up sitting out at family parties hoping nobody pulled you onto the floor — yeah, you know exactly what I mean.

Merengue changed my mind about all of that. It's the dance that proves the "I have two left feet" story wrong, usually within the first 20 minutes. The steps are simple. The music does most of the work. And something clicks faster than you'd expect.

We start June 10th. Wednesdays 8–9pm, $60 for 4 weeks, 40 Fairfield Ave. 2nd Floor in Bridgeport CT. No partner, no experience ✨

There's a version of you that already knows you can do this.

Sometimes you just need to get in the right room.

Merengue is the one Latin dance that meets you exactly where you are. No years of training. No partner you have to find. No choreography to memorize before you feel like you belong. The music starts and something in your body goes "I just need to move"

We're opening a Merengue for Beginners class starting June 10th. Wednesdays at 8pm. Small group, real instruction, zero pretense. You'll see how quickly you'll fall in love with the dance 😍

Look at this room.

Every single person here showed up not totally sure what was going to happen. Some of them hadn't danced in years. Some had never tried bachata at all. A few came alone, which honestly takes a lot more guts than people give it credit for.

And by the end of the night, this is what it looked like.

There's something that happens on a dance floor that doesn't happen anywhere else. You stop being in your head. You stop thinking about your to-do list, your week, whatever's been sitting heavy on you. The music just takes over and for a few minutes you're just... here. Present. Connected to the person in front of you in a way that feels almost old-fashioned in the best way.

That's what we're building. Not just dancers. This. 💃

It's planning to rain on Sunday and you likely be staring at your couch like it owes you something.

You could stay in. You probably will stay in. And by 8pm you'll be a little restless, a little bored, and lowkey annoyed at yourself for doing nothing with your day again.

Wednesday nights are NEW for us — and honestly, we think it's the best time we've ever offered.

You've been saying "I want to learn to dance" for how long now? 👀

June 10th is your answer.

6 weeks. Wednesday nights 7–8pm. No partner, no experience, no pressure. Just you, the music, and finally doing the thing you keep putting off.

$120 gets you the full beginner course, your first social free, a survival guide, AND $40 toward your next class. Rebecca and Randy built this so that starting actually feels good.

Major congratulations to this group 👏👏

We really enjoyed getting to know this group over the past 6 weeks. While we love the energy from a big goup, it's been pleasure to get know you more than just your name.

This crew showed up, did the work, and walked out being able to dance a full bachata song. We are so proud 🥹

If you've been waiting for the "right time" to start... this is what the right time looks like. A small group, a real commitment, and people who genuinely want to see you get it.
