There's something so special about taking a break from the daily routine to create, connect, and simply enjoy the moment. ❤️✨

Today's Paint Summer Sunset Art Workshop at the Milford Public Library was filled with creativity, laughter, and new friendships. We painted beautiful summer sunsets, met wonderful people, and even played an Exquisite Co**se drawing game, creating the funniest collaborative characters together. 🎨😂

One of my biggest goals with these workshops is to create a space where people can meet someone new, have fun, decompress, and leave feeling a little lighter than when they arrived.

Thank you to everyone who joined and made today so special. I can't wait to see you at our next workshop: Clay Pot Painting! ❤️✨🌷

Anyone interested in a paint & meet-up? 🎨✨

I thought it would be fun to get a small group together to paint, relax, and meet new people. No experience needed—just come for the good vibes and conversation!

I know sometimes it's hard to make new friends, and people end up ghosting or life just gets busy after meeting once.

My hope is to create something more consistent, where we can keep getting together, try different activities, and build genuine friendships over time. 🧡

Today was graduation day for the students at the schools where I have the privilege of working as their Art Teacher. As has become a tradition, we celebrated by showcasing our 2025–2026 school year art exhibition.

This is how it turned out this year, and I couldn't be more proud. 🎨🫶🏼

A special thank you to the students who helped set up the exhibition, hang artwork, and bring all of the beautiful details together. Your hard work and enthusiasm made this space even more special.

To me, one of the best ways to honor our students' creativity is to display their artwork where it can be seen, appreciated, and celebrated. Every piece represents effort, growth, imagination, and the courage to express themselves.

Seeing all of their work displayed together is a beautiful reminder of the talent, creativity, and unique perspectives they each bring to the world.

Congratulations to all of my students! Keep creating, keep imagining, and keep questioning the world around you so you can express it in your own authentic and unique way. I am so proud of each and every one of you. ❤️

What a beautiful start to this new chapter as an art instructor at the Milford Public Library.

I truly enjoyed meeting such creative, open-minded people and sharing an afternoon of art, connection, and inspiration.

I’m so grateful for the warm welcome and can’t wait for what’s next.

Next up: July 15th at 3:00 PM — a guided summer landscape painting session. Think paint & sip vibes… without the sip. A relaxing space to slow down, create, and recharge.

Art has always been a universal language—one that connects cultures, emotions, and ideas across time and space. World Art Day, celebrated on April 15 in honor of Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday, began in 2012 as an initiative of the International Association of Art (IAA), a partner of UNESCO, and was later officially proclaimed by UNESCO in 2019 to promote the development, diffusion, and enjoyment of art worldwide.

As an art teacher, visual artist, painter, photographer, and arts educator, I see every day how powerful art truly is. It is not only a subject—it is a space where students discover who they are, where their voices matter, and where they learn to trust their ideas. Art invites them to explore, to make mistakes, and to grow with confidence.

In my classroom, art becomes a tool for connection, reflection, and transformation. It helps students develop critical thinking, resilience, and emotional awareness. It teaches them that there is not just one right answer, but many possibilities—and that their perspective is valuable.

Art education is essential because it nurtures the whole student. It empowers them to express themselves, to see the world with empathy, and to imagine new possibilities for the future. ✨️❤️🎨🫶🏼
