First Class Dance Academy First Class Dance Academy continues to bring quality dance education in a nurturing, supportive, and We hope that you will come in and try a free trial class.

We provide classes in Ballet, Pointe, Lyrical, Turns & Jumps, Stretch and Strengthening, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Acro for all ages between 18 months and adult, beginner through pre-professional levels. Our faculty is highly trained and are certified instructors through American Ballet Theatre, Acrobatic Arts, and Dance Educators of America. We have a current Radio City Rockette and New York City m

aster teachers on staff as well. Our state of the art studios include professionally sprung StageStep floors for the safety of our dancers and closed-circuit television for you to view classes. We pride ourselves on instilling the love of dance and encourage a family atmosphere to each of our students. Our dance family is our biggest accomplishment and we love the bond we all share. Hi…my name is Maddy Isabella and I’ve been at First Class Dance Academy since 6th grade! I’m graduating from Howell High school where I’m involved in student government and relay for life. This fall I will be attending West Chester University to study Marketing.

My favorite memory from First Class would be when I was new and a few months later receiving dancer of the month.

One thing I love about FCDA is that it’s a place where I’ve always felt pushed to achieve my goals!

My advice to younger dancers is to enjoy every moment even if graduation feels so far.💙

💙☀️Had the most spectacular Company Showcase last night honoring my amazing parents. It was incredibly special to be surrounded by so much love and even more special to have so many of our alumni be present. Thank you to my fabulous faculty who are the strongest women I know, and to my beautiful daughters who stand beside me every step of the way. Mom and Dad…I owe everything to you!

☀️A little note from Cindy…

Hi, I’m Cindy Chandler and I’ve been dancing for 10 years. Dance has  been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and FCDA has felt like a second home to me. It’s where I’ve grown up, made my closest friends, and created some of my favorite memories.

I’m graduating from Brick Township High School, and I’m also finishing up the Cosmetology program through  Ocean County Vocational School. After graduation, I’ll be attending Ocean County College while continuing cosmetology school.

What I love most about FCDA is how it really feels like a family. No matter what kind of day you’re having, you can walk into the studio and feel better. I’m really grateful for the people and friendships I’ve made here because they’ve shaped who I am.

My favorite FCDA memory is Nationals week. All week sharing hotel rooms and hanging out in our free time, getting gelato, doing our big/little scavenger hunt and dancing all week together.

My advice to younger dancers is to never let go of something you truly have passion for. There may be times where you feel burnt out, discouraged, or unsure of yourself, but if you really love something, keep going and keep pushing through. Don’t let fear or other people’s opinions stop you from doing what makes you happy. 💙

💙🎓Our first Senior Spotlight is of our beautiful, Kendyl Vella! I have watched you grow up from the time you were a baby and you have become an amazing young woman. I am so proud of you and all that you have accomplished. I’m going to miss you so much at the studio, but I know you are going to do wonderful things! I have loved every second of watching you grow up. I love you…Aunt Maria💙

💙A little note from Kendyl…

Hi…my name is Kendyl Vella, and I’ve been dancing at First Class Dance Academy for 17 years. I have 3 sisters, love hanging out with my friends, and going to the beach.

I’m graduating from Howell High School, where I was part of the Performing Arts Program (FPAC), a member of the varsity dance team, and involved in National Honor Society.

This fall, I’ll be continuing my journey at Montclair State University, majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Audiology. I will also be continuing to dance on Montclair’s dance team.

Something I really appreciate about FCDA is how supportive and encouraging everyone is. It’s a place where you can be yourself, grow as a dancer, and feel supported every step of the way.

My favorite FCDA memory has to be Worlds. I love seeing teams from all over the world, and competing alongside such incredible talent.

To the younger dancers: always push yourself and never give up. Take every opportunity that comes your way, because time really does fly by. Enjoy every moment! ❤️
