✨Miss Gabbie✨

Teaching Contemporary and Musical Theater

Gabbie has been dancing for 16 years and competed with Starz Dance Studio for 11 years. Gabbie has always had an admiration for the artistry and movement that goes into dance. She is trained in various styles such as Jazz, Musical Theatre, Ballet, Pointe, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, and Hip Hop! Gabbie currently attends Monmouth University and spends her free time taking various dance classes in New York to continue furthering her dance education. She also attended the CLI Winter Intensive in Massachusetts during her winter break and she explored new styles and expanded her versatility. She was a teacher at Starz for two years and she is excited to be back sharing her love of dance with the younger dancers!

I could not be more proud of each and everyone one of the ur dancers who competed and took class with this week. Yes, that’s right, WEEK. Wednesday-Sunday; and not once did they give up! Even when things got hard, even when they were exhausted- they kept pushing. THAT is a win dancers.

I am so proud of these girls! We have really stepped up the work ethic these past few months. Most of these kids took the stage for the very first time today! This competition brings in the best of the best from across the country (and outside of the country). To take the leap to be inspired by such talent, and work along side of them, is something to be proud of!

✨Miss Tori✨ is back for the summer!

Teaching tap!

Tori has been dancing since the age of 2 and started dancing for Starz Dance Studio’s competition team at age 9. She has trained in a variety of styles including tap, ballet, jazz, pom, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, and modern. Now in college, Tori is a junior and is a member of the Monmouth University Dance Team. The dance team performs at all home football games, men’s basketball games, and women’s basketball games, along with many community appearances. She was awarded “Rookie of the Year” after her freshman year season and was the marketing chair where she ran the team’s social media and networking during her sophomore year. Last March she also had the opportunity to train with the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders in their annual intensive where she grew her knowledge and passion for professional styled cheer and dance and is eager to bring what she learned back to Starz. Tori has now taught for 5 years and is excited to teach again at Starz this summer!

We are so excited to have our Miss Tori back in the studio!
