Beautiful, inspiring, soulful. Just a few words to try to describe last night at the studio. One of my favorite parts of this place is setting up events like these and seeing the youth inspired by incredibly talented souls. Huge thank you to friend Nigel Hall for dropping by and sharing his heart musically. All these events light little fires that keep burning in these up and coming musicians.

Excited to host our friend Nigel Hall! We’ll be recording a song utilizing the recording studio in front of the live audience! From the magical moments to the mixing, this is a chance to observe a part of recording process from the best! These always sell out quick so be sure to message us if you’re interested in tickets 🎫!

Recording Grammy winning Lucas Richman’s new Chamber Opera album! Lucas’s resume is quite long. He’s worked with Michael Jackson, James Taylor, conducted for the films Se7en, The Manchurian Candidate, The Village, worked with Spike Lee films and so much more. His compositions are deep and the musicianship he’s brought with him this past week has been very impressive. Keep an eye out for his new project “Blood & Breath” coming soon. Thanks for choosing us as your recording destination 🙏🏼.

A huge heartfelt thank you to Jeff Coffin (Dave Matthews Band/Flecktones) and Roy Wooten (Flecktones) for taking the time to put on a clinic here at the studio for some of our students, friends and local musicians. Very appreciative of your time, knowledge and incredible performance this evening. You’ve lit a fire of inspiration inside everyone in that room 🙏🏼.

A super nice text we received from Gerald Casale (DEVO).
Thanks again for visiting our studio. Gerald, Josh Hager, Paul Hager and the whole crew are the real deal. Wait until you hear the new material…
Very talented and their show tonight was incredible! Safe travels on your tour and hope we cross paths again 🙏🏼🎶🤙🏽.

Devo just stopped in to record some parts of their new project at our studio before their show at the waterfront! Great guys and musicians! Pleasure working with Gerald Casale, Josh Hager & Paul Hager (front of house sound for Devo, Beck, goo goo dolls etc). If you can, check them out at the waterfront tomorrow with Billy Idol! Also, what made this session very special is when a guitar was needed, Josh Hager played my dad’s Gibson super 400 on the record and made it sing. I’d love to think dad is smiling down on this moment…

Moments like these are sometimes hard to articulate unless you’re there. Glad we captured it. Huge thank you to my musical brothers Nigel Hall & Stu Mahan for making special moments like these right here in Brewer, Maine.
Special thanks once again to Vitrumedes for sponsoring this event, Josh Small for engineering the live performance and Mike Rice for the cameras.
