We’re back! First day after summer break! Virtual Sit ‘n’ Stitch Tuesday night , 7-8 pm US Eastern.

Join the meeting with our shop phone number, and then I’ll clear you from the wait room into the meeting 🙂 We’d love to see you and what you’re working on! A heads up that we may ask you to turn your camera on, as zoom bombers have made it in and disrupted, and one sign things were going downhill is they would not. If you don’t feel comfortable with this, just let us know, we do want to welcome you in!

Our main guidelines are we don’t talk about heated subjects like politics, we all want to be friends!
**In that spirit it is essential we respect everyone in our use of language: disrespectful/harmful language towards any group of people will be addressed, especially if those speaking are not aware of the harm they can inflict. I include myself in that category, please let me know in whatever method you feel comfortable if I have said something to offend. I hope the Sun Dragon Community is always working to be inclusive and supportive.**

I can’t wait! Come by the second week of July to see!

Last time I was at Sun Dragon Art & Fiber we talked about a new colorway for her shop. This is a hint at the colors I used in it! Look for it in her shop in early July!

Day 7 of summer break- almost done turning this embroidery I did into a tote. Watch to see some of the steps!

Summer break day 6- posting about yesterday today- didn’t get a lot done because pets needed tending and I had a cool show to go to in Asheville. Starting a tote with my latest finished embroidery (pre-break), good warm up for several more I’ll be working on.

Summer break day 5: was yesterday, and went to bed before posting. Even though it was Thursday, it was hump day of the break! Around taking care of my hair and my car, filmed content for red and orange squares on the Papillon for my paywalled class (hope to edit today) and finished the second skein of Noro Sonata on my Kuutar tee by Sari Nordlund , just barely started the first sleeve.

Summer break day 4: newsletter out, routine vet visit, progress on my Amren shawl by Joji knit in Emerald drop cloth, Slubba Slubba base, and finished my kingfisher embroidery. The Amren shawl is filling a gap in our class schedule on June 27 if you’d like to make one too, contact the shop next week!

Summer break day 3: almost done with my kingfisher and started a crochet shawl sample for the upcoming . I got a video out to Sun Dragon Tips & Tricks about the pay collection of Ranunculus videos on my site (same as what’s on YouTube without the ads) and the Ranunculus retreat in September is open for reservations! Maybe I’ll film and sew totes tomorrow, here’s hoping.

Summer break day 2: starting samples for the in July , this is one of the patterns included in the tour bag you can buy this month to participate. I’m knitting this shawl in the colorway Fey & Fable Fibers dyed just for us, Meeting the Sun Dragon 😍
