The Duckpond Pottery A somewhat strange roadside attraction featuring the pottery and paintings of Nick Friedman. We keep funny hours. to 6 ish p.m. We gladly make appointments.

Wintertime is erratic, call ahead (828) 883 4512. Spring/Summer/Fall through Christmas:

Tuesday-Saturday
10 ish a.m. Sunday and Monday by Appointment only. If you are travelling a distance to visit us, please call ahead or message us on facebook and make sure we aren't running an errand or at home for lunch.

I had the pleasure this week of hosting Ann Connelly and her husband, Paul, for an intensive week of pit firing here at Duckpond. Ann will be representing my work at her Baton Rouge gallery and came up to gain a thorough understanding of my process and help with the firings. Such a stellar experience to work with these folks. Pictured here is a group shot of the many pots from the week as well as my note taking on the progression these guys went through to arrive at the finish line.
