People LOVE our overdye hickory stripes because they look amazing, have a perfectly broken in feel, and are completely unique.

Made in Texas by Stan Ray USA and overdyed by our friends TS Designs in Greensboro; these babies are only available at Newfound Artisan. We do a different color a few times a year so when the Teal is gone, it’s gone for good.

Come on down to Jordan Street to check ‘em out. Currently open Wednesday/Thursday from 11am - 5pm, Friday/Saturday from 11am - 6pm, and Sunday from noon to 4pm.

Red Leather, Purple Leather, Green Leather.

We have some stunning hides from Nick Horween in the shop right now. They specialize in a type of leather called “pull-up,” which means it has lots of wax and oils stuffed into the hide during the tanning process. Each hide has a firm, yet soft feel plus unique character that moves and changes as you use it. It makes for a truly beautiful bag.

The straps cut for our bags are from hides tanned by Wickett & Craig - another legendary tannery based right here in the USA. They specialize in heavy duty bridle and harness leather, which, due to its durability, makes great straps. 

We are proud to make our leather bags from these American heritage leathers. Come down to Jordan Street to check them out for yourself. If you want, you can even customize a bag with your choice of colors, hardware, pockets, and more! See you at the shop.

“Local summer” is a thing here in Brevard. It’s that time after summer camp season, but before the leaf peepers arrive. The in between time when things quiet down a bit and we all take a collective breath. Here at Newfound, we’re taking advantage of the slowdown to open a bit later on Friday and Saturday.
