The Travis Book Happy Hour

The Travis Book Happy Hour New Album 'Travis Book x Travis Book Happy Hour Vol. 2' Out Now 👇

12/11/2024

In November Chris Eldridge joined host Travis Book in Brevard, NC for the taping of the 40th episode of The Travis Book Happy Hour. They traced the beginnings of their relationship (and the ‘Dusters) and explored what it means to be a creative and spiritual entity. Performing as a bass and guitar duo, they followed a shared musical path from Tony Rice through John Hartford, The Seldom Scene, and Elliot Smith. 40 Episodes is a true milestone for Travis and sharing it with Critter was a full-circle experience. We hope you’ll check out this inspiring episode. .vibes

Did not expect to be completely transformed by the experience of spending the afternoon and evening with Dan Lotti of Damgermuffin. This man knows why he’s here. Check out our latest podcast episode wherever podcasts are found!

A practical romantic.

I'm on the latest episode of Basic Folk, out now on The Bluegrass Situation Podcast Network! I work with Cindy on my podcast and have always been really impressed by her input, professionalism, and dedication to the promotion of my pod, but I was not expecting to be on the other side of the best interview I’ve ever been a part of. She offered up some incredible questions and insights and I was honored to be included on the Basic Folk podcast.

Today’s featured track from the Happy Hour House Band Vol 2 is Pearl of Carolina! I wrote this tune with Jon D Weisberger and was lucky enough to get the idea on a bike ride. Jon and I are writing this afternoon and we’ll make a drink and jump on IG for a live session when we’re done, sometime around 5 or 5:30est.
