Dear Friends and Supporters,

In these uncertain times, fear and confusion have become common emotions, leaving many feeling lost and unsure of where to turn. At CCSI, we want to reassure you that, now more than ever, we are here for you—standing firm with our communities and our mission to provide support, hope, and dignity to those in need.

For nearly 55 years, including through periods of national upheaval and adversity, CCSI has been a steady presence in the lives of individuals and families. We’ve always held the belief that every person, regardless of political affiliation, religion, economic status, or cultural identity, deserves respect and compassion. Our work has never been about judgment, but about providing guidance, resources, and a path forward in times of crisis.

While we do not have all the answers, we remain committed to doing our very best to help those who are struggling or feeling overwhelmed by current events.

Recent developments have raised concerns regarding the financial stability of nonprofit organizations. Some of our critical programs, including su***de prevention and intervention hotlines, may face devastating funding cuts. We are working tirelessly to ensure our programs meet all necessary guidelines, but there is still uncertainty ahead.

This is where you come in. The individuals and families who rely on us—those experiencing homelessness, facing domestic violence, or battling thoughts of su***de—are more vulnerable than ever. Their need for support has never been greater.

We are asking for your help. A donation to our programs will ensure that we can continue offering vital services during these uncertain time and help us offset potential losses in funding. Your generosity could literally save lives.

Please consider making a contribution today. Together, we can continue to provide the hope and care that our community so desperately needs.

To donate to CCSI programming, please visit www.ccsimd.org or text CCSI to 71760.

Thank you for your continued support!!

Please take action today! Many in the theatre struggle with mental health issues, and we cannot allow the program to face funding challenges.

It’s time to Act! Email legislators on the Senate and House budget committees to let them know to preserve funding for 988. Take action now, by sending a message to these legislators using this action alert. This link will take you to the Campaign landing page where you can fill out your information and send a pre-drafted message. We need to generate as many messages as possible to get their attention so please share this through your networks!

Maryland must pass HB271 /SB 3 to fully fund 988 so that no one has their call or text to 988 go unanswered.

Random question for my theater people, does anyone have a PDF copy of Bedroom Farce they could send me? I've looked online and cannot seem to find it.

Thanks
