Möbius Keramikk

Möbius Keramikk Functional, sculptural clay formed with humor and intellect. Möbius Keramikk was founded in 2016 by Christina Osheim.

She holds an MFA from the Cranbrook Academy of Art. She has also been an Associate Artist at The Clay Studio in Philadelphia, PA, a Resident Artist at Red Dirt Studio in Mount Rainer, MD, and taught ceramics at Virginia Commonwealth University. Osheim's work explores the tension between polarities, specifically trauma and delight, as they relate to the senses. Her designs exist within the interstitial space between opposing emotions, inviting people to explore with eyes, hands, lips, and palate.

Serigraphy, also known as screen printing, is an art form that blends vibrant colors and intricate designs. Each piece is crafted with precision and passion, with small imperfections and differences in each, making it a unique addition to any art collection. Swipe to see the beauty of this technique in action! 🎨❤️

This work serves as a compliment to our ceramic objects. It explores the space between polarities. With this work we use color, line, and relationships to playfully explore what life throws at us; with references to Bauhaus and Art Deco.

Currently, there are 2 of these on our site for sale! Link in bio to purchase. Alternatively, if you have a account, you can purchase it wholesale there!

In my last blog post, I emphasized accepting my body’s and mind’s capabilities due to my long-term traumatic brain injury (TBI), as lack of sleep and overworking can severely impact my functionality. After a rough few days without sleep medication, I’m back on track and reminded that self-care and pacing are essential as we transition from Spring to Summer. Despite challenges, my transparency about these struggles aligns with NeuroMaps’ mission to support TBI survivors, and I’m excited for our community event on June 1st!

Which of these resonates the most with you as we transition from Spring to Summer?
