Who's ready for some Art and Music next weekend?!
The Texas Arts & Music Festival takes over downtown Brenham on Saturday, October 17, right outside our door.
There will be music all evening, an artist market, art show and Brenham Heritage Museum and three new murals going up. When the festival stage wraps, come inside and keep the night going with Gabe Wootton from 10 until midnight.
Gabe is a Texas singer-songwriter working in the Americana, folk, and country tradition, with roots in East Texas and a home base in Galveston. He's been at it for more than twenty years, with influences like Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, and John Prine. He's a regular at Galveston's Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe and has played rooms like Anderson Fair, the Continental Club, and Gruene Hall.
It's a big day for downtown, and we're glad to be in the middle of it. Spend the day at the festival, then come by for a cold b**r or a glass of w**e and a good set of songs to end the night. No cover!
