Resonance Opera Young Artist Program Resonance is a summer Young Artist Program offering training and performance experience in opera based in Brenham, Texas.

Daniel Trevor Bircher serves as it’s Artistic Director.

I am considering getting something together in the spring. If you are an alumn of the program and would be interested in doing something in the spring vs our typical summer format, message us (or contact Dan Bircher directly).

If you have a reliable colleague that is looking for stuff to bridge their resumes from pandemic to post-pandemic and might be interested, definitely send them my contact info.

Note: these rehearsals will most likely be held in Brenham and/or Bryan/College Station.

Possibilities are wide open right now. But, I’m leaning towards either a Mozart opera or scenes from Mozart operas - around February.

Also, if you know any potential sponsors or benefactors who would love to help underwrite such a venture, let me know.

We are excited to announce that we will be presenting scenes from Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Verdi’s La Traviata, Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, Victor Herbert’s The Red Mill, Lehar’s The Merry Widow, Massenet’s Cendrillon, and Gilbert & Sullivan’s The Gondoliers.

Today is the deadline to apply for an audition to be in our summer Young Artist Program (ages 18-35) or to register for the High School Competition occurring May 5th.

We are so excited to hear the new singers who have been applying as well as for the return of some of our talented participants from last season!
