Of all the past shows presented at The Barnhill Center, the Liverpool Legends are requested more than any other group, and they will be here this Saturday, August 29!

Grammy-nominated and internationally acclaimed Liverpool Legends is a group of musicians and actors that portray The Beatles, who changed the course of the music industry forever.

“Even though we are a rock ‘n roll band, we are surrounded by a big Broadway-esque production,” said Marty Scott, founder and manager of Liverpool Legends.

You won’t want to miss Liverpool Legends, Saturday, August 29 at 7pm! Grammy-nominated and internationally acclaimed Liverpool Legends is a group of musicians and actors who portray The Beatles. They are returning to The Barnhill Center by popular demand after selling out previous shows.

“Even though we are a rock ‘n roll band, we are surrounded by a big Broadway-esque production,” said Marty Scott, founder and manager of Liverpool Legends.

The artists in this group were hand-picked by Louise Harrison, sister of the late George Harrison of The Beatles. Louise’s establishment of Liverpool Legends makes them the ONLY Beatles tribute band with a direct family link to the original Beatles.

The Lovin’ Spoonful, often referred to as “America’s Beatles,” will perform at The Barnhill Center in Brenham at 7pm on Saturday, August 8th.m.

Inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2000, The Lovin’ Spoonful were honored for their brilliant influence on the music industry.

At the height of their fame, The Lovin’ Spoonful were often referred to as “America’s Beatles,” challenging the British Invasion with an astonishing and unrivaled string of hits. Their first seven singles landed on Billboard’s Top 10 charts virtually overnight.

Their first single, Do You Believe in Magic, flew to the top of the charts. It was soon followed by Daydream, Summer in the City, Darling Be Home Soon, Did You Ever Have to Make Up Your Mind, You Didn’t Have to Be So Nice, Nashville Cats, Coconut Grove, Younger Girl and many more.
Today the founding member and lead vocalist, Steve Boone, tours with his world-class band. Together they faithfully celebrate the rich, good-time hits that made them one of the world’s most beloved groups of the 1960s.
