Over the last four days I have initiated contact w/ certain artists and those who have general concerns. I thank everyone who has replied in addition to the previous KBFF co-organizer who has also helped with their communication.

All of these artists are sympathetic to the situation that had developed.
The main reason for these artists no longer being involved include performance guarantees and travel expenses to be covered by the previous co-organizer.
The current KBFF organizers do not have the resources to cover these high costs. Additionally, the current KBFF organizers were not made fully aware of these performance guarantees and travel expenses.
As of now, please note that we are NOT taking artist submissions to replace the artists who are no longer involved. There are other artists/bands who have previously reached out to the KBFF organizers and have been placed on our alternate performers list.
If the situation calls for it, the KBFF organizers might put out a call for artist/band submissions.
Going forth, the word 'FEST' will be dropped from these two nights.
We will go forth simply as
KEEP BREMERTON FEARED (KBF)
October 16th will be "Night 1"
October 17th will be "Night 2"
Those who purchased EVENTBRITE tickets can request a refund.
Please offer your patience to receive the refund. Host venue The Charleston handles EVENTBRITE ticket sales through their account.
By month's end a new KBF Instagram page will be created to seek followers and to promote only KBF-related content.

Thank you everyone for your support through this situation. It has created and strengthened relationships with new and old friends.
I will continue to post updates as needed. Please know that anyone can still contact me via DM for questions/concerns/etc.

On the heels of the first (and successful) KBFFest on January 10th 2026, The Charleston has graced us with a two-nighter.
