The only pressure there is, is the pressure we put on ourselves to be perfect.

I'm posting this because I know it isn't my "best" but it's not my worst. I'm posting this because I am not confined anymore.
No longer do I care to do things "perfectly". I am content being imperfect.

I love myself and the creations I make because they come from the depths of my soul, the truths that I carry and the emotions that need to be unveiled even when murky and muddy.

I will continue unraveling myself to expose who I really am, through the trials and tribulations I stand my ground.
I sever the ties from my past and blossom into the person I am becoming.
A new cycle begins.

This project was inspired from a feature film I was apart of called, 'Bumbo' directed by Hannah Scott from
Bumbo the clown. As I was doing Justin's makeup he told me that he was pretty frightened of clowns and that he wanted to be transformed into one one day. So, one idea lead to another...and then another.
I thought it would be SO cool to start a series called, 'Face your Fears'. It's pretty much what it sounds like. I turn you into your biggest fear and we make a short film out of it and it can be filmed HOWEVER we want. I'm very open to new ideas and collaboration.
If YOU want to be turned into your fear, give me a DM and we can talk about it 😏 I'm very excited to see where this all goes!

This look was inspired from a feature film I worked on a couple of years ago called, 'She the Creator'. There was a character that was the element of water. We didn't go this far with Water's makeup but from then I have always wanted to create a creature from the sea.

I was honestly so close to giving up on this project. I was beat down and burnt out. I really just needed to take a step back and come back with fresh eyes and a different perspective. If there is one thing I've learned, it's to look at things from all angles.

This look was inspired by a drawing from my sketchbook I did last year. This look very much reminds me of the ring (which is one of my favorites). It's like a combination of Samara mixed with how her victims faces would look after killing them. I always found these types of looks extremely creepy and disturbing...so sorry not sorry if I freaked you out 🤣
